We the congregation of Good Shepherd Free Lutheran Church declare that God the Father is all-powerful and eternal, that His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, is the Living Word; and by the power of the Holy Spirit, we aspire to live our lives according to the Word of God and to proclaim His truth to a lost and hurting world around us. Matthew 22:36-40
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

We are small, Bible based church, in the heart of downtown Virginia, MN and we have a heart to minister to all people, including those who have disabilities, those who are struggling with addiction, and those reintegrating into society and the church after coming out of prison.
