60th Anniversary Service & Potluck - September 28, 2025
What an accomplishment! 60 years of loving on and serving our community...
We celebrated with a service that was very reminiscent of our early years - pictures, readings and recordings from the very first pastor at Good Shepherd were among the many surprises. After we went to dining hall for the potluck meal and some amazing conversation with members and attenders both past and present!

2026 Neighborhood Summer BBQ - June 13, 2026
A little summer BBQ to tell our neighbors how much we care and appreciate them!
It was a rainy and wet day, but that didn't stop us from having fun (indoors, of course) and eating some wonderful smoked pulled pork sandwiches (meat was smoked and prepared by Pastor Mike - the one thing he does almost as good as preach!) and all the fixin's, including a delectable selection of desserts with a very summery theme. With live acoustic music from Chris Mammenga as a backdrop and a fun round of group games, it was the perfect day for a neighborhood summer BBQ!
2026 Summer Picnic at the Voight's - August 22, 2026
In case you haven't noticed: at Good Shepherd Church, we eat. A LOT. Quite often. And always VERY WELL!
And there was certainly no exception at Brad and Amy's this summer...tables of delish barbecued hamburgers and brats and ALL THE SIDES YOU CAN THINK OF!! There was sunshine, lake breeze, a bonfire with s'mores, boating, karaoke, plenty of doggies for loving and entertainment, and much laughter. What a wonderful way to end a season...thanks again, Brad and Amy, for hosting and showcasing your amazing generosity! You always take such good care of us!

It's Fall, but that doesn't stop this hearty group from enjoying a picnic outdoors - FARM STYLE!
Sandra Tuominen hosts this event every year, and it is always an adventure...farm animals and bonfires and friends. there's no better way to celebrate ALL OF God's creation!
