My name is Charles "Mike" Tifft, and I have been lead pastor at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church since 2020.

I am a pastor, musician, songwriter, and author who loves Jesus, loves people, and enjoys sharing the good news of God’s grace. My heart for ministry comes from a simple desire to help people know that they are loved by God and that His Word speaks into the real joys, struggles, questions, and challenges of everyday life.

 

I have been married to my wife, Martha, for 32 years, and together we have four grown children. Family is an important part of my life, and I consider the relationships God has given me to be among my greatest blessings.

 

As a pastor, I enjoy teaching Scripture in a way that is honest, practical, and easy to understand. I believe church should be a place where people can come as they are, find genuine community, grow in their faith, and discover how God can use their lives to make a difference.

 

Outside of ministry, I enjoy spending time with my family, dogs and the friends that I've made along the way. I also enjoy making music, writing, and simply getting to know people. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside others through both the celebrations and difficult seasons of life.
