Hello friends!

 

Good Shepherd Church is starting a new thing...a daily prayer challenge!

Prayer is one of the most important aspects of our lives as followers of Jesus, and it should not be taken lightly. It is not just a church or Bible study "thing". It’s something we can and should be doing every single day. Our relationship with God suffers if we are not praying. His people are not being served or helped if we are not praying. And we are not changing if we are not praying.  GOD WORKS POWERFULLY WHEN WE ASK HIM SPECIFICALLY!

So, back to the challenge: each month is going to have a certain prayer theme, and each day of that month will have a certain aspect of that theme to pray, along with accompanying scripture for meditation. On the 1st of every month we will attach the entire month's calendar for you to download and print and place somewhere strategic. We will also post daily encouragement here. A couple of heartfelt minutes a day is all it takes for lifelong change, folks!

We are looking forward to the possibilities that will come from this, both within our church family and community as well as within ourselves!
