Welcome to our Children's Ministry!
At Good Shepherd Church, we believe children are a special gift and a precious blessing from God. We also believe that they are more likely to learn in an environment tailored just for them! Our ministry invites kids ages 5-12 every Sunday during the service. Your kids can learn about God's big love for them in a safe, fun and loving environment. Through a blend of contemporary worship music, games, activities, stories and other creative activities, we help small hearts grow big with a strong foundation of faith that will carry them through a lifetime!

Worship God with Lifted Hands!
Good Shepherd Church's praise team, Lifted Hands, leads our worship each Sunday with a blend of Contemporary Christian worship music as well as the beloved hymns we have grown to love. Their beautiful blend of voices and instruments speak to your soul during worship time and help to bring you before the Lord in awe and wonder as we await the Word of the Lord. Several members have recorded CDs of original songs. The team sings at a variety of local events as well, including Celebrate Recovery, Bridge City Music Festival, and various holiday services. We would love to see you in church this Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m.!

Nursery
There is a nursery space in the basement of the church for parents to escape to if your toddler needs a break. Stocked with age-appropriate toys, music and a TV with DVD, a changing table, high chair and a rocking chair it is an inviting space to relax and regroup or just hang out and enjoy the giggles!
Bible Study - Acts
Join us for a very insightful study and discussion on the beloved book of Acts - The Book of Acts (also called the Acts of the Apostles) is the fifth book of the New Testament and serves as the primary history of the early Christian Church. Written by Luke the Evangelist as a sequel to the Gospel of Luke, Acts chronicles the roughly 30-year period after Jesus’s ascension. It details how a small group of ordinary disciples, empowered by the Holy Spirit, transformed into a global movement that spread from Jerusalem to the heart of the Roman Empire. Our discussions are animated and deep as we learn how to apply the truths of this book to our ministry today!
Currently we are in the middle of the book, but anyone is welcome to join at any time! We meet in the church dining hall at 12:15 p.m most Sundays. Come early for fellowship and treats!
